Iglesia Misionera Biblica Midland

This Spanish-speaking congregation is an organized church of the Bible Missionary Church Inc. denomination and more broadly the conservative holiness movement. This church believes in and teaches a thorough plan of full salvation, through Jesus Christ, that transforms a persons both inwardly and outwardly.

Worship: hymns, choruses and testimonies

Music: piano, string instruments, wind instruments.

Education and Training: a Sunday School program for all ages, divided into different age groups. Also operates a Christian academy locally. Teens and adults can attend a bible institute, Instituto Misionero Bíblico, operated by the organization in Houston, Texas.

Literature: the Bible (RV1960, equivalent to the KJV in English), biblically-based Sunday School literature, The Missionary Revivalist (the monthly church magazine, printed by the organization).

What to expect: a welcoming yet uncompromising group of believers. Sound preaching on God’s love and mercy but also of His call to repent, to forsake sin, to forsake worldliness, heaven AND hell, as well as growing in grace, persisting in prayer and guidance in finding your place in God’s kingdom.

Church attitude towards visitors: you are welcome to visit and if you like it, you are welcome to stay. Indoctrination, literature, rules or religious demands are never imposed on anyone.

Overall: quite a peculiar congregation of perceivably genuine Christians.
