I love Unity Church!! No judgement just love and peace!!
The Unity movement is rooted in Christianity, but its appeal for me is that it shares the values that are common to nearly all religions and societies around the world. Unity recognizes the validity of many paths to the same universal spirit and that is what makes it feel like home to many. I am glad to have had that kind of church atmosphere for my kids. They understand the oneness of all mankind and are accepting of people otherwise unlike themselves.
I have been involved in Unity of Tacoma for almost 30 years. Why do I keep coming back? Many reasons...the wonderful community of loving people, the laughter, the service opportunities. This is a place that welcomes all. I love the all-inclusiveness and openness to beliefs and discussion. Through discussion and conscious contact with God, I have grown my faith. Even through the tough times, I know that Spirit holds me up and that Love is always there.
