Lovely walking trail with several stream crossings. It can get a bit muddy and slippery. Great place to walk your dog—mine loved it. However there are a lot of off-leash dogs. We were there for an hour, and I saw at least seven dogs off leash. People with dogs made uncomfortable by off-leash dogs running up to them may want to avoid.
Nice park with a nature center & trails to the Potomac. People love to bring their dogs. There are a couple of stream crossings to navigate but it shouldn't be too bad.
Nature center has some snakes & turtles on display as well as educational items for kids.
Hidden gem of a hike. Recommend hiking all the way down to the Potomac and taking that all the way down to Rosslyn via the Potomac trail if you have time. A bit challenging, but a lot of fun.
The beauty of nature. Perfect for a morning run. With your family, even your dog. And the view of the Potomac river will set you on a good mood for the day.
Solid hiking trail that weaves in and out of a small river/creek that leads to the Potomac. This is great if you're looking to 'escape' the DC area without having to drive an hour + out of the way.
An added plus is that it is dog friendly and usually quiet, even on nice weekend days.
Nice and quiet place to live with nice people around!.
This is a great place to live. My wife and I have been here for over six years and we've got great neighbors and it's quiet and comfy. It is close to everything we need !
