Great little park and fun place to watch the ferries come and go. Parking is limited but free for 4 hours and it's a great place to come out and watch the ferry and people. Definitely scent of sea, seems more so in low tide.
This is a true sand beach and a great spot for beach walking, watching the ferry go in and out, and keeping an eye out for sea lions. There was a couple sea lions laying on logs in the water when my friend and I were there to cold plunge. Lots of benches to rest or just sit and watch a sunrise or sunset. Also picnic tables. outdoor shower, and restrooms.
Beautiful place to spend the evening watching ferries come and go. Especially when it's cloudy, it gets really dramatic. Mesmerizing views of the Olympics. My go-to place to take my wife and now the baby to watch sunset and take timelapses.
Beautiful little beach right next to the ferry dock. Pleasant walk with informative signs, restrooms, outdoor showers for after your swim/dive at the underwater park, lots of great shops and places to eat nearby.
Excellent spot for seal watching. If dressed properly, it is a very romantic spot in the rain and especially the snow (thanks global warming). Also great for train and boat nuts, as you will see plenty.
