Awesome little shop - the owner is great. Very knowledgeable and interacted so well with my Pokémon obsessed 9 year old. Really good customer service and a unique collection of things to see.
Really great place. The owner was super friendly and very helpful with whatever I needed. The prices were very reasonable and he has a very good selection of things to choose from. I like that I was greeted when I walked in the door and was offered assistance immediately. Thanks for opening your shop in Lake Stevens I will definitely be back
I literally can't say enough positive things about this place.
Atmosphere, content, and an owner who genuinely cares.
Josh (owner) never hesitates to jump into full-blown conversation anytime it's welcomed. You're not just the 30th person to walk in that day; you're more like a friend visiting from day one.
Prices are good for the market value of things (rare these days), and he is very transparent if you have any concerns.
Trade percentages are absolutely fair (better when you go for store credit VS cash - and you'll definitely find something to bring home!)
There are multiple sales where he went out of his way to acquire a game someone was looking for - once even from his own personal collection.
My first time in I was there over an hour and had a hard time walking out.
All in all, great owner, great shop.
HIGHLY recommend a visit to your neighborhood Stupid Geek (and his lovely mother Debbie!)
*I will add some photos next time I am in!*
Fantastic spot for nostalgia. They have retro games and systems along with a bunch of tcg and singles! The owner is knowledgeable and polite and the space is clean and bright! Not to mention fairly priced. My kids and I enjoy it there. Some photos of pick ups and my oldest playing her first arcade game.
An absolutely incredible store. Great pricing and a wide selection of more than just second hand retro games and consoles, but accessories, modern games and systems, decorative figurines, gaming related magazines and even custom art pieces. Plus some arcade cabinets and video game systems to demo as well. The owner and staff are super friendly. Definitely has great vibes and run by someone who is not just in the business to make a profit but is a genuine enthusiast who cares about what he sells. I love this store and I wish him success in his new venture!
