When I first started seeing Nancy, I was a tightly wound bundle of nerves, constant in crisis mode. After seeing her for a couple of years, I am at a much better place. I’m living more in the moment. My relationship with my family is much better as well. Talking to them about my emotions became possible. I’m very glad that I picked up the phone that day two years ago and I’m very grateful that Nancy was with me through out that journey.
I first started seeing Nancy in 2008 for some time issue management issues I was having. I have been seeing her ever since. The tools she has given me have been so valuable in helping me to seeing when I am attaching to a thought that creates me stress, or helping me to realize when I have or am becoming enmeshed with my family. With the years I have spent with Nancy, I am continually amazed by how well she understands me, and allows me to discover what the true me is. She is never critical towards me and has an innate sense of what I am struggling with. I recommend her to anyone who has struggles with sense of worth, trust, fear, or self esteem issues. I am so grateful that God has helped me to find her!
Initially, my husband and I came to Nancy Bennett Counseling for advice in parenting our teenage son. The information, insight and "tools" Nancy shared with us are invaluable. Yet, even before becoming a parent, I had read self-help books, written in journals, sought counseling, and prayed desperately in search of something that seemed to be missing in my life.
