  I’ve been to this hospital for various reasons over the last 15 years, from illnesses, to being in the maternity ward. Over the course of my life, I have been at different hospitals either with family, friends or myself. This hospital ranges in care, just like every other hospital does, sometimes you get fantastic care sometimes you don’t. When going to the HOSPITAL I expect to be there for a long period of time in the ER, it’s not a doctors office where you make an appointment they take you back based on the severity of your symptoms. So if you come in with a sore throat and fever you're going to wait longer than the guy with high blood pressure and chest pain that's the whole point of the emergency room. Your cold is not more important than a heart attack. This is the way all hospitals do things so to complain about how long you're there because you came in with a cold, flu, or something else that is not severe is ignorant.

  This is the best hospital experience I’ve had for my 4 yr old girl. From the EMT guys to the nurses and most of all Dr. Paganussi. He was extra caring and extremely knowledgeable. What a great Doctor!
  
  I have been to ER in Northern VA and have had horrible experiences there. They are all fancy with their amenities and look but the Doctors are not as experienced and this you can tell.
  
  You can tell how caring and intimate the staff is at WVU Medical. Thank you!

  I've been here twice. Once myself several years ago (out the same night) and most recently for my wife. I'm not sure where all the negative reviews come from. Both of us were so gracious and glad to have the support and help from all the staff we met. Everyone was very polite and respectful to us. We felt as if the quality of service was above and beyond what we've experienced before at other hospitals. So much so that we made it our business to thank the staff and send them all a thank you card.
