Brigham County Park

Great hike today. The trails are well marked.

Beautiful place to camp, and the closest place to Madison (about 30 min drive) for winter camping. Electric hookup year round! Drawbacks: 1) No dump station. 2) They don't plow in the winter.

Lovely park. Small playground, great field for hanging out, frisbee, other. Shelters and small stand grills looks like great outdoor event space. Small campground and some great trails! Panoramic views of the Wisconsin River Valley are with the trip alone.

Make a day of it with Cave of the Mounds and the state park nearby.

Others have said it, but this really is a hidden gem! We had one of the dry camping sites, so they might not have all been so well kept. However, we found the grounds to be pristine, the grass to be full, and the sites to be very spacious. What it may seem to lack in services, ot makes up for in natural beauty and peacefulness. Wonderful campground with a beautiful sunset!

Great place to take the little ones. Great views for the adults, playground, (level/easy) trails, camping and shelters for gatherings. Seriously, some of the best views in (near) Dane County - had no idea we had such high ground here.
