Karben4 Brewing

Upbeat, expansive indoor and outdoor areas to enjoy beer, especially with larger groups. Also one of the best, most streamlined winter "bubble" places around. Karben4 has probably the most diverse array of beers on tap of any Madison brewery, and soda and other fun nonalcoholic options to boot, so there's really something for everyone. I do wish they still had food, but obviously the economics of that has changed a lot in the last few years for most microbreweries.

One of a few stops in Madison. I highly enjoyed the beer offered at Karben4! I wish I could get some at home. If you like to check out breweries and brewpubs while traveling, make sure to check these guys out when you visit Madison.

Karben4 brewing has become a staple of the Madison brewing scene. They took over the old Ale Asylum location but their beers are very much their own. Their headliner is their IPA Fantasy Factory. They generally have 15 beers on tap. On my last stop they have a pale, IPA, HAZY IPA, Slow IPA, Oat IPA, session IPA, 3 sour ales, a fruit, an Amber, s'mores, porter, milk stout, and a barley. They are known for their IPAs and they are generally better than their darks.

The inside is open with high ceilings but dark. They have additional flavors and seltzers in cans as well as merch, pretzels etc. Their patio is big and they often have music in warmer months. Only real down side is it is a long a busy street. Service is nice and it is definitely a place to stop. I am a dark beer person so this is a 4 star to me...that said I have been here many times.

April 9th Easter Sunday brought the great weather and that means glorious Patio Beers. Karben4 still puts out great beers and the staff is always friendly. The vibe is great with lots of art on the walls. Fun place to enjoy Craft beer.

Great selection a home brewed beers and super friendly employees. The atmosphere here is genuine and kinda of laid back, even though they're right next to a major raod. They have a great selection of IPA's, seltzers, barrel aged, stouts and plenty more. But my favorite is the fantasy factory a double IPA. Their fruit and flavored infused beer selection is very expansive. If you're in the area stop by and check this guy's out, great beer at very reasonable prices.
