Athens Grill of Westport

This place is the perfect lunch spot! The gyros are great, the lemon chicken soup is incredible, the fries are AMAZING. The beer list is fantastic and the staff is always super friendly! I bring my work crew here every time I'm in the area because the food always comes out fast and fresh.

Stopped in after flight into town. Mac and cheese and soup were good comfort food. My friend had salad with eggplant.
Lots of kids after school, family friendly place even though it has a bar. I would go back here in the future. Back again and the spinach and cheese pie, gyro, and salad were great.

Athens Grill was recommended to me by the folks over at Alt Brewery for a gluten free carry in. I have Celiac and need safe gluten free food. Normally a fast food type joint would make me nervous, but they said they eat here every other week so it sounded solid. I had a great fish fry and a day later I'm still not sick.

They have a drive thru too, so you can just order when you get there. The only downside was it was nearly $60 for two fish fries and an extra order of fries.

This place is known for gyros but may have the best vegetarian sandwich in the Madison area: the eggplant gyro. Great flavor with argula, pickled onion, hummus and seasoned pine nuts. The Mediterranean Grain Salad and Athens Fries are another tasty flavor option.

Ahhhh....yes, please! Great food, and great beer selection. Had a loaded gyro here, and it reminded me of gyros in Greektown(Chicago). So good! A rotating craft beer selection with a full bar to complement. Don't forget to get the fries...amazing!
