Larry our guide is a lovely senior person who welcomed us and told us stories about the place and what we could find around.
If you want to see a bit more about New Glarus, that's the place to visit.
It is small but they have a good collection of vintage items from the city founders

Nice staff. Great place to learn about the history of the people of New Glaris area and their struggles in a new country. Pretty cool. Handicapped parking, building access and rest rooms. Plenty to see as you walk about. Took about and hour and a bit more. Very clean and well kept. Fee was 10 per adult. I think children are cheaper.

Very interesting place, informative, very complete, we liked it a lot! The lady who attends the museum is very kind. An older lady with a lot of energy and very nice...

What a great historical site to visit! This museum provides a self-paced walking tour to see life of Swiss settlers. My Dad and I enjoyed a few hours of exploring the different houses, showcasing different historical pieces. Of course my favorite was the old cheese house. Take your out of town guests to this charming museum.
