  Thi place has greatly improved from the bad old days of slow food. The last 5 days I have been there the food has come out amazingly fast and delicious as ever. One of the most popular restaurants in the community

  Place is amazing, no wonder so many good reviews, this restaurant will not disappoint!
  Orders are fast, consistent, fresh, prices are right, portions are good, bathrooms clean and the employees are pleasant. Oh, and did I mentioned very very tasty?? Visiting from Chicago and couldn’t have found a better place given the area, definitely recommend and will return!

  I ordered a large curried goat that came with traditional sides of rice and peas and cabbage. Also came with PLENTY gravy. The portions are large and perfect, had enough for lunch the next day. Food tasted amazing and authentic. Will be returning to try other dishes. I didn't take any pictures because my entree looked just like all the other pics, so you know the consistency is there.

  Great Jamaican food...???? The Curry Chicken was delicious and the non-alcoholic ginger beer beverage. See photos. Everyone was joyously polite.

  If you wanted a great example of Jamaican cuisine, then Uppa Yard is Milwaukee's best representation of it. Be advised as there is always a line for the great food they serve. If you want to try and get some of the daily specials such as Curry Goat, then come early. The people behind the counter are always nice and won't hesitate to suggest something good if it's your first time.
  My go to's:
  Oxtail Combo with steamed cabbage, peas and rice
  Or
  2 chicken choice with same sides
  Always order some jerk chicken
  And don't forget to try the Pasties and Jerk Eggrolls
