  These guys are great. Don't see what you want? They'll order it. Don't know what to get? They'll help you figure it out. So much nicer than going to the liquor Dept at the grocery store.

  Nice selection of beers. They have a "build your own 6/4 pack" and I was able to try many different beers without having to buy a whole 6-pack.

  Best beer selection east of Ray's. If you're within a few miles of this place I recommend making it your beer stop. They also consistently have a really good selection of single cans/bottles.

  My go-to for booze. Great craft beer selection, especially cellar-worthy stuff. The staff is friendly and helpful as well.

  This place is great. Small, but that means the staff knows everything on the shelf. And it doesn't mean they don't have what you're looking for. I've walked in there asking for some pretty obscure items and if they didn't have it on the shelf, they could order it for me. This goes for beer, wine and spirits. If you don't know what you want ask the staff and they will love to help you out. I've found some of my favorites just by asking.

Downer Wine and Spirits rocks. It is, without a doubt, true that they don't have the biggest selection; the place is ridiculously cramped. Since Murray's closed, Northside Milwaukee has been in serious need of a worthy successor... Unfortunately, Downer Wine & Spirits isn't it.
