We chose to replace our brother's 78 yr old marker that had tarnished/corroded to what we thought was beyond repair. This was something our mom had wanted to do before her passing but never got around to it. It was time to honor her wishes and get it done.

Update: We decided then to attempt to clean it, thinking if it didn't work, we have a new one under contract. Well, with a lot of elbow grease, a Simple Green solution, my husband and my brother got it looking almost like new. (See pictures of before and after) They will need to do one more cleaning and polishing then seal it to stave off tarnishing and corrosion.
We ultimately chose to cancel the contract for a new marker in leu of how well the cleaning worked.
Stacy, the manager, was very understanding and gracious about it, cancelled our contract and refunded our down payment. If in the future, we ultimately need to replace the marker, our choice of the new one will be held on file, making it easier to replace.

I recently had the opportunity to work with Stacy Terry,
Assistant Manager at Roselawn Memorial Park in Monona, WI and found him not only 110% professional and capable, but also very pleasant to work with. In addition to helping with the planning of my future burial, he also guaranteed that some perpetual care needed on a few gravesites would be taken care. Previously, I had been told that they couldn't do it - but Stacy assured me that it could be and would be done -- and it was. I found Stacy to be so very helpful and because of that, I had a sister, and later today a brother, complete their burial plans with Stacy. I would like to send a sincere thank you to you Stacy Terry!

We’ve owned our cemetery plots for many years and recently decided that it was time to take the next step and purchase vaults, memorials and pay our interment fees in advance. We made an appointment last October with Stacy Terry at Roselawn. Stacy walked us through the purchase process and made us aware of all the options available to us. He was very friendly, professional and helpful. After we finished, we asked for the location of an acquaintance’s grave that we wished to visit before we left. Stacy looked up the location and even took us to the grave. It was quite difficult to find since the person had died over 20 years ago and the grave stone was almost completely overgrown by the surrounding grass. Stacy immediately offered to have the gravestone cleared off and said he would put in a work order to have it done. After it was finished, he sent us a photo to show how the grave now looks. We consider Stacy having our acquaintance’s grave cleaned up as “service above and beyond”.

Stacy Terry helped locate a gravesite of a relative that had been buried many years ago. Stacy helped me choose a grave marker and let me know all of the options available . I felt I was able to make my best
choice and I am very happy with the marker. He was personable, knowledgeable and thoughtful.

Stacy was wonderful to work with. He was very professional, answered all of my questions very thoughtfully and provided great guidance through the process. I had been putting off this task of making my final arrangements for fear that it would be hard or depressing. Turned out to be a much better experience than I imagined given Stacy's kindness and knowledge. Highly recommend Roselawn Services!
