  I have personally shopped at Stone X on a few occasions. Not only does it have such a beautiful showroom but also has inventory ranging of all sorts of stones! Beautiful granite, quartzites, travertine, marbles, and rare exotic stones too! You will also find they have top notch customer service. They answered all my needs as a interior designer, walked me through the showroom and were very polite and sweet. The best part is even in winter the showroom is heated and comfortable. Their sales reps are knowledgeable about all things stone related. It was a wonderful experience. I will be back and will continue to refer my friends and other interior designers. So, I suggest you see it for yourself! This company has amazing employees what is he even talking about!! A wonderful owner whome I have met on a number of occasions who stayed late for me and personally introduced himself to me. I strongly erge you to go shop for yourself, you wont be dissapointed! I should also add....this company only sells stone. It does not fabricate or install, so those photos and false reviews are fake and simply popycock!

  I have worked here nearly 3 years. I’ve truly enjoyed the work environment. The stone we carry is premium quality and the owner has worked very hard to treat all the staff like family, and I believe that reflects in the level of customer service you’ll receive here. We have over 300 color options ranging from builder grade to exotic residential. My husband and I even found our own stone for our personal home here. If you have a project requiring some stone, stop in and check us out. I promise, you won’t regret it. Our sales team is highly trained and able assist you in any of your questions and help walk you through the process.

  StoneX offers so many different options for countertops (granite, marble, quartz, etc.) from varies regions of the world. They hold a huge amount of inventory, and their environment is very clean, calm, and friendly! You will find the most exotic stones there. I recommend stopping in and taking a look! The representatives there are very knowledgeable and will help you with your process.

  We've shopped at three suppliers of granite to find countertop material for our kitchen remodel (that hasn't started yet). We have NOT purchased granite from StoneX or any supplier, but I have to rate the experience we've had at StoneX.
  
  It's in a non-descript building at the far end of a dead-end street. It's in a small industrial park area just off 108th St and around the corner from Able Plumbing & Culver's. (It's not visible from 108th.) You don't need an appointment, and they are open M-Sat.
  
  First, their inventory is AMAZING! After you walk through a very nice reception area, you are among rows and rows and rows of neatly stacked, well-labeled slabs of granite (including fusion, quartzite, etc.), marble and quartz. Then you can go into an additional, huge room with MORE rows of the same materials. It's all INSIDE (heated!), clean, very well-lit and again, the slabs are labeled. Each label displays the name, if any, type & mining location of that slab and a graph that indicates the approximate cost range of the slab from 1 to 12+. The graph's main purpose for me was it allowed me to compare the general cost of the ones on my long list of "favorites". If you've shopped for granite, I think you too will greatly appreciate that little graph. The only ones I've kept pictures of are my favs because I was getting so confused; but I wish I had the photos I took of the EXPANSE of their warehouse.*
  
  Of course, way back at reception, you've been offered help by one of the sales staff. TAKE IT. They KNOW their inventory, they know granite, and they can save you hours of wandering aimlessly, not to mention getting "lost" in the rows! When, if you narrow down your favorites and really, really want to see the second slab that's stacked behind the one you love, they will HAVE IT MOVED on the spot. Of course, time of day and availability of staff may influence their ability to do that, but they will if they can. We were surprised and delighted, to say the least.
  
  When you've chosen a few particular slabs that you are serioursly interested in, they will send the info on them to the fabricator of your choice for an estimate. PLUS, you'll have a written copy of the ones you picked. And then when you check email later, you'll get a pdf WITH PHOTOS of the selections they will send to the fabricator.
  
  It's the most organized granite supply warehouse I've ever seen, and the staff is GREAT. Just be prepared to be overwhelmed....
  
  *(And when you take photos of your "likes", be sure to include their label in the photo so you remember later. Believe me, you won't otherwise!)

  I was going to wait until I actually purchased a slab from Stone X (through my fabricator) before leaving a review, but every trip here has been such a wonderful experience. The staff is always so helpful and knowledgeable, the inventory is overwhelmingly beautiful (there's something to satisfy anyone's taste), and visiting the showroom is like walking through a gallery of gorgeous stones. I think I've finally settled on a quartzite and will hopefully soon be able to update this review with a photo or two.
