Our sons loves the school. Turning 3 years old next month and he look forward to going every day. The support and education he is receiving from the teaching staff is great. The school is a blessing and we are happy that our son is getting the attention and education from the school. Highly recommended for all parents.
My son currently attends New World and he loves it! He is developing many skills and the teachers and staff are so supportive of his development. This school also is diversed with staff and children. Parents also have outside events to get to know each other.
We put our 22 month son in the Toddler room which he absolutely loved from day one. After his very first visit he came out and hugged me so hard his little muscles were shaking because he liked it sooooo much. I was looking at alternative schools in the north shore because of a biting situation at his former school and looked no further. The New World Montessori director was genuinely confused about biting in preschool as it had never been a problem there in all her years. She explained how the method is so gentle and the kids are too occupied by their little projects to be concerned with it. My son felt safe from day one and ends each day by saying, "I had fun in school."
Now, a year later, he has transitioned to a Primary room and loves his new teachers just as much as his Toddler classroom. He is engaged and is thriving. The classrooms have a international level of diversity which means he doesn't have to feel or look different--they all do! I just love this community of talented educators, engaded students and dedicated families. We are a community growing together.
New World Montessori is an amazing school. My three-year old son is in one the Primary classrooms and has grown so much and gained such confidence in the time he has spent at New World. The teachers implement the Montessori Method of education with integrity and are extremely knowledgable in the philosophy. The staff members are kind, caring, and professional. I would recommend New World to anyone who wants their child to get an amazing, hands-on education.
The new Toddler Program is wonderful. Our child has blossomed since first attending at 18 months. We are pleasantly surprised by the art, songs, reciting rhymes and alphabet and other new words she recites at home each night. The teachers and staff are fully supportive of our dietary needs and because the class sizes are small we are ensured great care and supervision.
The one standout are the teachers. Apart from being trained with Montessori training/traditions they have a a wealth of experience and interests which makes the fabric of classroom and playtime very rich and engaging. We were just reviewing some of the activities last semester which included yoga, baking and music.
