  Loved this place! We stayed here Sunday night to Monday. Their continental breakfast that was served weekdays was delicious and hand made by Roxy! Adorable room (cascade suite) with a private quaint patio overlooking the river. Easy check in, just all around great experience. And the owners are so nice and helpful! And EVERYTHING was in walking distance. The shops, restaurants, bowling alley, waterfall, train depot, kayaking, all within a very small few blocks!

  Cannot say enough good about this place. We rented the entire facility for our annual family weekend. Everyone, even the 3 teenagers loved it. We were able to do a wide variety of things during the day and spent the evenings relaxing and playing games. It rained pretty hard during some of Saturday, but the facility and area are set up so you can find plenty to keep everyone engaged. Lovely hosts, facility and area. We will be back!

  The Sunset Suite is absolutely stunning. We loved the private balcony and the bed was very comfortable. Roxy was friendly and welcoming. The Inn offers tons of amenities and feels like an oasis away from it all. We would happily stay here again.

  The Inn got new ownership in March 2021 and it is fantastic. The owners are very friendly and pay special attention to all the little details for their guests.
  
  The hotel is clean and beautiful. The beds all have new mattresses and are very comfortable. The view is to die for. The breakfast room looks out over the River and it is lovely!
  
  There are lots of places to lounge in the hotel, and the house is old and luxurious. Beautifully constructed and has been well maintained by the new owners.
  
  I took my mom here for Valentine’s Day and they put a fresh rose in our room as well as fresh bouquets in the breakfast room. Chocolate covered strawberries were served at breakfast and we had a lovey chat with the owner about the history of the building (my mom and I are both enamored with century homes).
  
  All in all, I would say this was one of most luxurious and relaxing hotels I have ever stayed at and my mom thought the same. The price is great for this experience. I almost don’t want to post this review so as to keep this my secret get away from the cities, but the owner was so nice and dedicated to the hotel, I just had to share!

  We ended up coming here at the last minute. After trying to plan a weekend away for months and having plans rearranged and falling through, we were determined to make this weekend work. However, our usual St. Croix River and Lake Superior locations were either booked or had recent poor reviews. We normally stay in hotels and were nervous about a bed and breakfast but decided to give it a try. We are so pleased that we did! This is a true hidden gem. The owners and staff are so friendly, the rooms are immaculate and beautifully decorated, and the views are amazing! Those wanting a communal bed and breakfast experience can enjoy common areas like a shared walk out and sitting area. However, the suite arrangements and staff also make it perfect those wanting a private get away experience, as we did. We received a welcome text and the owner made us feel comfortable communicating directly via text, if needed, throughout the weekend. The personal touch and old small town charm that this place has to offer set it apart. Thanks so much for giving us a beautiful and memorable weekend, Tim and Roxy! We look forward to returning.
