I was treated with respect and kindness by every staff member I encountered. There was no wait to check in for my appointment. I was taken to a room within 5 minutes after I checked in. I filled in a medical history form I was sent in the mail prior to my appointment, so the questions I was asked by the nurse were quick and concise. She had much of my medical information by getting records through Ascension's computer system. I did not have to waste time going over my extensive medical history. She had access to my medical records saving a lot of time and hassle. The doctor came in the room within 5 minutes after the nurse checked my vitals. My appointment was with Dr. Douglas Hempel. He was wonderful. He sat and looked me right in the eye when he was asking his questions. He was thorough and answered all my questions. He did not rush through the appointment. I felt safe, respected, and valued. He ordered labs and scans that I was able to do right there at the office immediately after my appointment. The wait for labs was 20 minutes. There were two people in line. As I am a new patient, that is not unreasonable. There was no wait for my ultrasound. The staff of both these departments were kind and engaging. They did not make me feel like a burden because the doctor ordered these tests and I did not have a prior appointment. They were cheerful and treated me with respect. I was given clear instructions for follow-up and I will see the doctor again soon to see how the interventions he ordered worked. I had a great experience overall. I would recommend this facility and Dr. Hempel to anyone who needs a rheumatologist. The most important thing I look for in a doctor and other medical staff is that they treat me with respect. I definitely felt I was treated with the utmost respect in addition to kindness, attention to detail, cheerful attitude, and in a timely manner. I have no complaints.

It’s always a pleasure to interact with Dr Larry Pearson and his Staff. They are courteous, efficient and a pleasure to deal with during my routine six month checkups.

Dr Mark is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He is very kind and compassionate. My RA has improved so much since I have been seeing him.

Dr. Mark Pearson is just an awesome doctor!! Very upbeat and positive and my super-hero for making my RA “go away”!!! Everyone at the office is super friendly and nice! I actually enjoy going there and to my infusion appointments!!

Dr. Mark is simply the best and has the highest recommendation I could offer. He is patient, kind and a great listener. He is knowledgeable in the latest trends and treatments of the disease. I feel exceptionally well cared for and trust him with all my heart.

The front office staff are efficient and Mandy, Hannah and Tammy in the infusion lab are equally fabulous. Sherry in the business office/insurance goes the extra mile.
