I am writing this review about two Hunter Douglas blinds that were installed in my Mother's home many years ago and were out of any warranty offered by Bazar(if they have one) or the factory. Several years after the installation one of the two blinds did not operate properly and needed an adjustment. The repair to the blind started a process of...repair/not working/repair. This was about a 6 month to 1.5 year cycle. No one other than my Mother operated the blinds. They were used as designed but not abused. Bazar never thought customer abuse was an issue during this working /not working period. Earlier this year I took the problematic bling to them and asked for a permanent fix to the blind that would stop this repair on and off cycle.

Bazar contacted me and advised they were unable to properly repair the blind and they would send it to the factory. After a short period of time, Bazar contacted me to say the factory could not repair the blind either. However the factory wanted to know if there were any other blinds in the same room, and wanted photos of them. I sent Bazar a photo of the second blind (which was identical to the problematic blind).

Within a short time two new blinds, that were identical to the original blinds, were installed at my Mothers home at no cost to her. To me this is outstanding customer service by both Hunter Douglas and Bazar Home Decorating. Every one at Bazar was extremely helpful especially Liz , who coordinated the complete replacement process. Additionally the service tech took the time to explain to my Mother why the old blinds could not be repaired and why new ones had to be made.

I highly recommend Bazar Home Decorating for any service or product they offer. They exceeded all expectations of both my Mother and myself.

Great place for repair of hunter Douglas blinds. Very reasonable pricing and gets the repairs done quicker than estimate. I would look for new blinds hear first because of the service and great showroom.
You go not need to buy it here originally to get repairs like others places.

They helped me with window treatments for my entire house and I had them redo the master bedroom closet. They came out to measure and put together a fantastic presentation with numerous options that allowed me to really maximize the space. I never felt pressured to buy and the installers were hard working and professional. I would highly recommend Bazaar Home Decorating to all my friends and family.
