  I am so happy I impulsively drove to Shady Acres. I was on the hunt for a tall astilbe plant to fill in a bare spot. I’d looked online for tall versions and found a lovely purple one I liked. Well, Shady Acres had that very type! Reasonably priced, too, and a healthy specimen.
  
  The lady who greeted me as I entered the gorgeously landscaped displays is named Jean, and she’s helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely go back to Shady Acres, as they specialize in perennials that can tolerate our Wisconsin weather! Here’s my new perennial in my backyard garden!

  I’ve been coming here since I was kid! They have beautiful grounds with many of the plants labeled as well as lots of garden art. Great prices, helpful staff, and lots of perennials!

  Love their variety of unique plants - great place to get a gift certificate for that hard to buy for person ????

  Discovered this gem just recently. Excellent quality, well maintained items. Pricing is surprisingly affordable for such healthy nursery items. Browsing their inventory is a delightful treat for the eyes.
  Staff is very helpful and professional. All seem to have pride in their business and it shows in their customer service.
  No need for me to shop elsewhere for my home's landscaping needs from now on.
  Sad to say, they close for the season July 31st, but spring will start April 2019 when they open again.

  What a beautiful place with friendly and knowledgeable people. I had a personal shopper the whole time and was truly grateful. Can't wait to get planting!
