Chugach Outdoor Center

This was one of the best things we did on the Alaska trip! We had boots on but got wet within 30 seconds of launching! My son absolutely loved it and it was hot out so we didn’t care about getting wet! Our guide was a very young intelligent man, with a super cool personality! The entire experience was just amazing and we would highly recommend doing this if you are in the area and not afraid of some water and trees!

We had a large party of 11 people do 6 mile creek rafting through all 3 canyons. Our experience was amazing, definitely the highlight of our trip. Our guides were very experienced, fun, and made us feel very safe. There were also extensive safety instructions, helping us to feel more prepared for the class five rapids. Highly recommend for anyone seeking adventure.

What an absolute blast!! As someone who doesn't have any prior experience with class 5 whitewater rafting, I was a little unsure of what to expect given how intense I've heard Sixmile Creek is. But from the time we arrived it was very apparent that this is a first class operation, and Tommy's safety talk at the river covered every question I could have possibly thought of. Hunter was our guide and did a fantastic job keeping us safe and well informed about what to expect before every rapid. He was completely professional but also made the trip a ton of fun because we knew we were in good hands. I already can't wait to get back out on the river with these guys because it was such an incredibly positive experience. Huge thank you to Tommy, Hunter, and the rest of the crew for such a memorable and amazing day!

What a time! Hunter was our guide, he may seem innocent with a baby face but make no mistake he knows what he is doing! Cool under pressure and very knowledgable. Never at any point did I feel truly unsafe. Tommy set the precedent with his safety talk by the water and the teamwork amongst the guides was inspiring. As an Alaskan local I'll definitely be back for years to come and would recommend it highly for anyone thinking about it.
