Great snow mobile trip and tour, spent time by a fire and they served hot dogs, had a bunch of fun on the trails!
The only downside is the long can ride from the check in to the snow mobiles in the packed van. But in order to get up to the trails and get the gorgeous views, it's a necessary evil.
Would highly recommend!
We had an incredible time with Glacier City Tours during our first trip to Alaska. After discovering them on Google, we reached out to book a tour, and we were thrilled with the experience. Justin and Erin, the owners, were so accommodating and made us feel right at home.
Their equipment was top-notch, and our guides, Erica and Steven, were fantastic. They were not only knowledgeable but also made the tour a lot of fun.
I highly recommend Glacier City Tours for anyone visiting Alaska. They provided a fantastic adventure that we'll cherish forever.
Originally we booked the snowmobile tour to the glacier, but it was canceled due to the weather condition. The company offered us a Scenic Mountain tour instead and we had no regrets. It was our second snowmobile tour during the vacation, so we were “experienced “riders and had lots of fun The tour was phenomenal. We had quite a large group of participants, but guides took a great care of us . They divided our group on 2 , so everyone could have fun and enjoy the tour according to the level of comfort and experience. Half way through the excursion we stopped for a lunch. They served a reindeer hotdog and a beverage by the campfire. We really had a memorable time worth every penny!
Thank you!
Our guide Brandon was awesome!! He took me and my girlfriend with a family of 5 on a snowmobile tour to Spencer Glacier. It’s a total of 5 hours and about 24 miles of riding. It was definitely worth the money and highly recommend doing this tour! Some tips… stay on the trail, stand up when it gets bumpy, listen to your guide.
Brother and I had a blast. It was a tedious ride down to Spencer Glacier bc of some first time riders with our group but it was all worth it in the end. We were absolutely in awe of the majestic beauty of the mountains and glacier and so glad we went. Thankfully things were much quicker on the way back with a great deal more freedom in where you can ride and how fast. No food or water is provided and there are no restrooms out there. Experienced riders may feel held back, this isn’t about the ride as much as the destination, we averaged about 15 mph.
