While in Chicago, Dr. Ransdell developed a love for running and ran her first of 18 marathons on the streets of Chicago. In 2003, she moved to Glendale, AZ with her husband, Dr. Jason Ransdell. In 2004, their daughter, Jordan, was born. Dr. Tara Ransdell purchased Peoria Eye Care in 2005, which is now Petelin Vision.

Option 1: Standard Monofocal Package. A monofocal or standard lens implant is inserted once the cataract is removed. This option is best for patients who do not desire freedom from glasses. No astigmatism management is done and both eyes are targeted for the same endpoint. Most patients will still wear full time bifocal glasses with this option.
