Southwest Sailing, Sailing Lessons Your Way!

I took ASA101 class at Lake Pleasant with Emory. It was a great experience and I am planning on taking more classes in the near future. I am very interested in the sailing vacations he offers. Get ready Emory !!!

I had an awesome experience on a long getaway weekend with the guys for a vacation/certification for ASA 101, 103 and 104 out of long beach and around Catalina Island. Cptn Heisler was energetic, funny, and a good all around guy to hang out with from shopping to provision the boat to the deep dive into the technical aspects of navigation. The boat was awesome and the instruction top notch.

I have recently taken the ASA 114 cat certification from Emory in Long Beach. Emory's focus on crew safety and boat handling while also having fun provided for a great learning experience. I would recommend Emory for anyone looking to hone their larger boat sailing skills.

I spent two days with Captain Emory working on my certifications. He is a great teacher and a very patient instructor. He breaks down complicated concepts into easy to understand language. I highly recommend him and his services.
