El Chorro

Storied eatery in a one of a kind location. El Chorro sits in the heart of Paradise Valley on the same site it has occupied since 1937. In fact, you may enjoy your meal in the original building. The food is outstanding with items like their legendary cinnamon rolls, broasted chicken and much more. They have an outstanding brunch as well. Enjoy the views of Paradise Valley on the patio, or the comforts of one of their dinner rooms or bar. A classic that is still not to be missed.

Great setting in Paradise Valley. Always a great ambiance. Had been there a couple years ago and had a great Father's Day brunch. That was regular menu and food was strong. Went recently for Mother's Day, and the setting was great... But it was a buffet style, and food made in bulk and sitting out for a bit never compares. Wouldn't do a buffet there again, but definitely would go back otherwise.

We had a wonderful dinner there last night. The sticky buns, salmon, trout, and lobster bites were wonderful. I cant say enough about how the food is so good. The presentation is beautiful. The texture is interesting. The quality of the food is the best. There is no other place in the Phoenix area that has food this good!! Then the server was not only good, she was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and restaurant. Now the setting is just wonderful. The character of the main dining room is truly fabulous. It was our anniversary and they sent out a lovely Happy Anniversary dessert that we did not expect. It had a white chocolate mousse with berries and shortbread cookie. A wonderful way to end our great meal. I would highly recommend this place. I have been to alot of restaurants in the area but this is the best of them all. We look forward to when we can go back again as it is a 5 star restaurant to us in every way.
