Desert Meadows , an oasis of winding paths and comfortable seating in cozy alcoves, draws you in to discover whimsical art and exotic plants. One visit is just not enough. A passing couple mentioned they would return with tea to sit and savor the experience.
You must visit this park. There were literally hundreds of butterflies everywhere. Hundreds of butterflies in trees and plants. Super cute park with tons of funky pieces of artwork that consist of fused glass and metal. Well worth a 60 to 90 minute stroll.
There is also a lovely community garden that we strolled through. Very neat to see all the different types of plants that people are growing.
This place is magical, especially in the early morning. The butterflies are amazing and the landscape is truly well cared for by the community. In awe by all the different types of cacti🌵 Can't wait to go back.
Fabulous neighborhood park connected to the Historic De Anza Trail along the Santa Cruz River near Green Valley. Great plant sales, wonderful yard art by locals, wonderful paths and meeting gazebos for all sizes of groups. Peaceful place to retreat to.
What a great park! It's very different but not in a bad way. It's an unusual looking park - see pictures. It's well maintained. Lots of dogs here - on leashes. And a great trail for walks. You really should see it!
