  Chilly today! They need to turn up the heat for their customers.
  Employee who waited on me seemed to be in a bad mood.
  I'm also sad they 86-ed brown rice.
  Still, the food is really good!

  Very interesting menu with a whole lot of vegetarian options. Food was fresh, and accurate portions. I'd go there again.

  I go here often because I like the food, very flavorful. But recently I got a burrito which had pretty stale and salty riced cauliflower. It was close to closing time, but that’s no excuse for serving semi spoiled food.

  This is quickly becoming my regular meet-my-brother-for-lunch spot. Also our office's quick-we-need-staff-lunch spot. I loved the food truck but was rarely in the same neighborhood, so the fact that there is now a brick and mortar around the corner from work? Yes. The food is always good, it's always got a good amount of kick, and there is no skimping on the curry in any dishes.

Curry Up Now Oakland Review: Not Your Average Indian Fare

The vada pav at Curry Up Now is the best I've had. It's a perfectly seasoned mashed potato fritter that's sandwiched between an Amul buttered bun with garlic chutney and a dust of seasoning. I love the lightly fried coating that reminds me of the same crispy shell as a dim sum taro puff.
