  First and foremost, if you’re on the fence about Scar Tissue Remediation or imagine it might be too painful, think again! Andy is attuned, professional, and communicative – he moves with intention and knows what he’s doing. I appreciated Andy’s confidence and presence in touch (my background is in bodywork and I’m super selective/vigilant about style of care). I felt my adhesions melting with each pass with just the right amount of pressure. The next day, not only could I breathe deeper, but I felt more range of motion/my muscles felt less stuck. Highly recommend getting a bodywork package with Andy.

  I had a wonderful experience with Andy. He is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his craft and care. None of his treatment was uncomfortable or painful, on the contrary, it felt like relief and integration.
  For decades I have felt like my ankle has been on a vise grip. The morning after my session with Andy I had space and freedom with so much more mobility in my ankle. It was such a relief. I’ve noticed I can engage other structural muscles now that I have more range of motion in my ankle. I am so grateful and look forward to more sessions.

  Andy’s scar tissue work is truly amazing. I’ve been suffering from pain in my hip for three months and with one treatment I can already walk without a limp and the pain and inflammation has gone down tenfold. Andy had an immediate rapport that puts me at ease and creates a feeling of safety and well being. During the session I feel cared for an relaxed because he checks in about where my body needs touch. His intuition about the connections of scars inside the body guide him to know exactly where to go to address my injuries. I often find my own internal perception of what is pinching or hurting and just before I say anything Andy’s hands are already there soothing and healing the spot I was going to tell him to address. In this way I can totally relax and not have to worry or direct him because he is always finding the exact pace I need work next. In my last session he helped me understand the connections between all the injuries I’ve had in my right side of my body. From broken legs to surgeries to blood clots to fatty lipomas, the entire network of injury is now being addressed and he is helping me heal all the sites of pain and discomfort. He helps me see my body as whole, interconnected, able to heal itself and a site of joy, pleasure and aliveness. Thanks Andy Stout for being so good at what you do. I encourage anyone with injuries, pain, scaring, or surgeries in your life to let Andy’s work provide some relief. I’ve had increased mobility and the bonus of improved appearance of my scars too, so much so that they are hardly visible any more.

  Andy is a skillful, empathetic practitioner and I highly recommend him for both scar treatments and massage. Within two sessions I’ve noticed improvements to pain and sensation which was well beyond what I hoped for.

  Andy's work is profound. I am a chiropractor and had a surgery on my hip earlier in the year. The scar tissue at the scar site was very stiff and painful. I had other massage therapists work on it and it hurt so badly it brought tears to my eyes yet it never seemed to help. One session with Andy changed it so much. It was comfortable to receive and the tissue was immediately softer and no longer painful to the touch. I then had Andy work on other scars from older injuries and was always amazed at how he was able to make such a huge difference. Since seeing how incredible his work is, I have referred a good number of my patients to him and they all have had marked improvements. Andy is a pleasure to work with and he is fantastic at what he does. I am convinced that scar remediation is cutting edge in the bodywork field and we are lucky that Andy has studied it and is so good at it. I highly suggest scheduling right away!
