  I came here as a child as well as to Keller beach. It's also even more beautiful!

  Excellent place to be in any weather and on any day of the week. Recently, many park amenities and upgrades have been added to and performed. A great place for an outdoor party with plenty of things to occupy all ages. It's a special location that isnt on a main thoroughfare so it is often sparsely occupied (though not always) but is still close to downtown Pt.Richmond where you can stock up on supplies for an all day event.

  Nice shoreline for picnics & family fun. Can get busy on sunny weekend days. Good trails walks to the top of the knoll for Bay view. The SF Bay Trail with history signs along the way goes through park for more walking & biking.

  Came on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of parking. Lots of sunshine and breezes. Bring a sweater just in case but lots of places to hang around. Bring a blanket to sit on but quite a few tables otherwise to use. Close to the water and pretty clean.

  Perhaps the best kept secret family reunion and picnic spot in the whole Bay. On certain Saturdays, the operating model railroad museum across the busy street is open to the public at no charge. It's huge! Get your grill and table early because this place is popular every day of the week after 3pm.
