(October 16, 2018, 8:16 pm)It's a bit pricey compare to most of the Sushi restaurants around the area. The food is good, service is average. 2 adults and 1 toddler spent over $100 for a regular meal. I would only go back there again for special occasions.

(August 21, 2018, 11:53 am)Good place. Shared the garlic edamame and had a California roll while my friend had the miso soup and a crunchy roll, which were all good. Prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly and nice.

(562) 433-3800. Kihon is my absolute favorite spot for sushi in the long beach area, almost to the point where I want to keep this place a secret. The sushi tastes like it was flew in right from japan - no frills, authentic, fresh. The proportion of sushi rice to fish is ideal and the sushi rice is perfectly seasoned.
