(October 4, 2022, 4:14 pm)Great stay! I booked this hotel for my parents that were visiting me from the East Coast. The place was remodeled, and was very clean. Lobby was also redone and service was excellent. Great value for the money, and would recommend it to anyone for a short term stay!

(July 13, 2022, 1:52 pm)It's old and run down, but it's clean and safe. The road it's on is very busy so noisy at night. Staff are friendly enough. Lots of good places to eat nearby in Silver Lake.

(September 24, 2021, 3:48 pm)Lexmar is a fine hotel. Reservation through an online service was really easy and they found it right away when I arrived. The staff person was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and I especially liked that there was no carpet, because you can never fully trust it's clean.
The price is pretty much unbeatable for a reliably clean room, and the area seemed safe enough and is close to a number of really good restaurants, eateries, coffee shops and the freeway. Just understand the trade off is that you will provide pretty much everything. There is no coffee maker or the soap bars and bottles you may be used to, but there is a soap dispenser on the wall in the bathroom and dispensers for shampoo and conditioner on the wall in the shower.
My only points of concern were that the morning person was very rigid on late check-out when they weren't booked up and that there isn't anything encasing the mattress, just a pad and fitted sheet on top, but I've definitely experienced more alarming conditions, and the cleaning staff really are attentive and thorough from what I could tell. I will stay here again.
