SRF Lake Shrine (Reservation required)

Very peaceful and beautiful site just off Sunset Blvd. Must make a reservation online to visit.

Requires reservation and it’s so worth it. Everybody was so nice. The best place to relax, meditate and just enjoy the view.

This is amazing place for meditation and walking. The right lot of places when you can be alone and meditate. Also, they gave us food for fish for free, my kids were so happy when they fed them. Also, the worker answered for all our question, she was so kind and polite. Each worker that we met there were really nice.

Great except the annoying reservation system which after covid should have been removed. The grounds were safe and sacred just the same before the mandatory reservation system. Many reserve and don’t go blocking out dates for the others. The idea is really to be able to access the ground when one feels the need of that peace and quiet not because they had made a reservation a week before. Spontaneous is magic.

Grew up living down the coast from here but never went till now. Super peaceful and contemplative place to spend an afternoon. Steeped in yoganandas teachings. Book shop and small gift shop. Reservations required.
