SRF Lake Shrine (Reservation required)

This is a hidden gem in Los Angeles. I will soon be a Certified Mindful Professional (CMP) and this was a part of that journey. Google the name Craig Marshall and the time he spent here. Walk around and come on Sunday when the chapel is open. A lot of great places to meditate and some benches sprinkled throughout the walk. They have other locations, but this was a special experience and I highly recommend it to everyone. Enjoy!

Amazing staff. I wanted to give a shout out to one of the female tour guides there. My younger brother had an unexpected health scare suddenly and she was so kind and attentive and made sure he was feeling okay and helped him with water and snacks. Thank you so much again!

Very serene. All the world’s religions are on headstones here amongst beds of roses. Including mahatma Ghandis ashes. (Well part of them) a museum, a chapel church in the lake and a big temple in the hill. Of course the lake is pretty with swans swimming and turtles surrounding the waters. Very very peaceful.

The first time I visited here was in 2016 after a nice lunch at nobu I was a troubled teen in foster care and my mentor wanted to show me something different .. it was very nice I hadn’t experienced anything like it it actually opened my eyes to a brighter side of the world and brought a lot of peace and knowledge helping my growth ever since I’ve been visiting trying to get people to feel the same honestly this place isn’t for everyone some will just come to enjoy the scenery so will take your peace away be aware the the serene peaceful energy coming from this place is like no other I think there’s regulars because if you don’t reserve early your asked out honestly three weeks I’ve been asked out 😢
