  We made the choice to switch our boys from Tae Kwon Do to BJJ to have the confidence that they’d be able to handle themselves if a difficult situation was to arise. We’re so glad we did! The coaches at Gracie Barra are patient, calm and teach the kids respect and discipline all the while encouraging a great learning environment. It’s even more cost effective than the Tae Kwon Do class they were in which is an added bonus!

  Love this place. They have two brown belts teaching the kids class! We have been to gyms where the coaches were blue belts. Trust me it does make a difference when it comes to teaching kids from different levels. Check this place before you decide to sign up some where else.

  We have been training at GB Corona for five years now and it has been great! Professor Tom Reusing and Coaches have created a safe and challenging training environment! Our kids have access to world Class coaching and training! A family friendly academy with opportunities to train with athletes of all levels! I know that this level of dedication to the students and BJJ is evident in all the GBs run by Professor Tom and the Head Instructors at GB Newport Beach!

  My two sons have been training at Gracie Barra for a long time since 2010, the culture here is more like a family environment, everyone is nice and respectful. The coaches are positive role models for my two boys as well as for the rest of the kids and lead by example. The professors and coaches are the best trained and knowledgeable instructors the have encountered, they compete in tournaments worldwide as well as all over the US, and bring that knowledge back to the dojo and pass it on to the adults and our youth. They have classes to accommodate everyone's schedule. I highly recommend this place to everyone!!!!!
