Big, big, ski resort. It has an incredible variety of ski trails, wonderful views of the mountains and a very helpful friendly staff. It is also very expensive! You pay for everything. Some of the season passes offer a good value if you have the schedule to take advantageous of them. The gondola rides are enjoyable for even the non skiers.
I stayed at this amazing resort for a week for my skiing trip with my cousins and my aunt and uncle. It was awesome. There was so much to do and the area was beautiful. Actually I have an awesome story. So when we were there, the snow covered everything and the outdoor hot tubs all had a barrier of snow. Me, my little cousin, and some other people were in the hot tub right next to another one. And basically the other hot tub engaged in war with us, and another hot tub nearby. It got pretty heated, I even made alliances with the other hot tub that was also being attacked by the one next to us. Soon we destroyed the hot tub that started it and they fled into the pool. Honestly this was an amazing experience I hope I can go again this year! We spent Christmas here as well
Overall, we enjoyed our experience. The views are amazing and there was a decent amount and variety of terrain. We went on a day where temps got up into the mid 50s and the snow was definitely slushy and sticky in spots. Multiple lifts were also closed, further limiting options. On the plus side, there were very few crowds on a weekday, so lift wait times were great. Overall, I would come back, but never at full price, as I feel like the value proposition is not there, especially during the spring and with less slopes open.
My Wife and I stayed here and we were definitely impressed. The resort is first class, we rented the fireplace Suite which was perfect. As soon as you pull up the valet guys are right there to greet you. We walked in the front doors to a beautiful lobby complete with a fireplace and plenty of lounge areas. The restaurants were nice, food and drinks were great.
They have a ski lift there. We did not experience that as we took lessons in the Village. The pools are all heated and There are multiple hot tubs around them to relax in. Outside there are fireplaces, a waterfall, and plenty of places to just sit and relax. If you get the chance to visit, We highly recommend!
