The Vegan Vato

Discovered this place on TikTok and had to wait till Tuesday to try it. They are closed Sunday and Mondays. But they did not disappoint,I am not a vegan or vegetarian but I have tried good vegan food before and this is definitely a top 3 from the places I’ve had. I tried the loaded fries with “Carne Asada” they put a lot of flavor into the food and the texture of the protein doesn’t leave you wanting actual meat. Great place for a quick meal as well, got there when they opened and was on my way home in less than 20 minutes.

Great plant based spot in the high desert. The food was yummy! We ordered nachos and tacos, the produce is nice and fresh.The service was exceptional! We were offered complimentary spicy sauce that was just made. Very nice gentleman and lady behind the counter, friendly people.

It’s a little confusing to get into the building, soooo many doors and the majority are locked. Turns out you have to enter from the back. It’s near the bus stop so expect lots of random people walking around in the parking lot area and all about.

Overall a thumbs up from me!

So nice service and omg so good food!!! Vegan heaven at the bus station! Literally. We loved everything: enchiladas, loaded fries with fish mushrooms, desserts and and berry drink. So yummy. Hidden gem, thank you!

Shocked to find this gem in the High desert. The Nacho’s are really good. Lots of interesting flavors. Great food can be found in unusual places.

Definitely check The Vegan Vato out if you’re in the area! Vegans and meat eaters will love it. This vegan Mexican restaurant is amazing! 🔥 I love that they don’t use fake meats, instead they use natural substitutes such as jackfruit and hibiscus. This place is definitely a 10/10! Also I absolutely love the amazing events they are always hosting. My husband and I attended a cooking class and it was an incredible experience!
