Dr. Mat was fantastic to work with. He identified my issue and set up a personalized exercise regime that dramatically reduced pain and contributed to a rapid recovery. He was both attentive and caring, as well as respectful of my time. I would go back.
Dr. Parker is by far the best physical therapist I've seen. If you're experiencing shoulder pain like I was, you owe it to yourself to consider Parker Physio.
Prior to seeing Mat I had been treated by other physical therapists for a frozen shoulder without any significant improvement. This was an old injury for which an orthopedic surgeon recommended a shoulder replacement. So, I was desperate and skeptical when I consulted with Mat. I was in a lot of pain and had very little range of motion. Mat was totally different than the other physical therapists I had seen. He spent the whole 60 minute session working on me and I could feel the difference. After each treatment I could feel the improvement. Mat's knowledge is incredible and I especially like that he cares deeply about his clients. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Parker is the best! I tweaked my neck while working on my house back in October. I was reluctant to see a doctor, because my past experience with chiropractors has left me feeling great the day of, but the problem usually comes back in a few days. I decided to tough through the pain, as I am only 32 and my body should be able to heal itself. This was a huge mistake. It was bearable for a few weeks, but eventually the pain got to the point where I couldn't turn my head to check my blind spots while driving. After some searching I finally came across Dr. Parker and based off of his previous reviews, I decided to give him a try. Dr. Parker was very personable and listened carefully to my problems. Not only did he help me by adjusting my neck and providing me with stretches to continue at home, but he also spent time talking to me to find out the root of the problem so that I could prevent it from occurring again. He also followed up with me on a weekly basis to ensure that my pain was improving. Thank you so much, Dr. Parker!
After about a month of dealing with ongoing pain, from what I thought was due to a workout injury, I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Mat Parker on a recommendation from a couple friends. It was my first consultation for physical therapy so I wasn’t really sure what to expect.
Not only did Dr. Mat Parker ask great questions in preparation for my appointment, he also provided all of the information I needed to prepare for the consultation (directions to the office, parking, what to wear, what I wanted out of the appointment, etc). He’s super friendly, he was ready to get started as soon as I arrived, and he is clearly invested in helping.
I was expecting to have a slow recovery with gradual improvement. Nope! He was able to identify a couple exercises that gave me IMMEDIATE relief. I couldn’t believe it. This was something that was bothering me for so long and now it seems silly I waited all that time. He opened my eyes to other contributors that were putting stress on my injury. I officially put it to the test tonight with a grueling workout, I experienced essentially zero discomfort and had my full range of movement back.
