Dr Merz is a great orthodontist. She has treated my son when we moved to San Diego even when the treatment had been already started. She always seek for the confort and health of the patient with perfect results. Additionally, the price has been very reasonable. We do certainly recomend Torrey Pines Orthodontics.

I came in to Torrey Pines Orthodontics with a huge overbite, and now I have perfect teeth! The staff, especially Dr. Merz were all very kind and professional.

If it were possible to rate 10 stars, Mary Lynn Merz would get 11! After many years being self conscious about my severe crossbite and crowding... I resolved to do something about it. A little backstory... Doc M had begun my orthodontic treatment when I was in middle school but I was a rowdy kid and would regularly skip appointments... so my parents canceled treatment, to my youthful indifference. So after 20 odd years.... I 'braced' myself for treatment options.... and the only person I thought to call was Doctor Merz. My particular case was a challenging one.... and the good doctor did not shy away from the task, opting to play the long game and create the most beautiful configuration in terms of aesthetic as well as functionality for proper bite alignment. We laughed, I cried.... and after two years my crazy mouth slowly began to look beautiful, which at age 36 is a brand new phenomenon. We still have a little ways to go.... but I'm living life with a brand new confidence and I honestly feel like a got a facelift (because the lower jaw actually sets up the structure for half your face). I can also attest to the patience of the Doctor's highly trained staff, whom under the good Doc's tutelage perform with the same care and precision. Dr. Merz and her team have made me feel comfortable from my very first appointment. I had visited about 5-6 other offices looking for a doctor that would help me find the perfect ortho plan for me. They made my decision very easy.

Since then, she has worked with my price range and schedule every appointment. I'm almost done with Invisalign and can't wait to see the results. They also sent a cute card when I first started my journey!

My entire family has been with Dr. Merz for over 20 years, I trusted her with my own mouth many years ago and have never had a better smile, my younger brother, sister and dad have all been patients of Dr. Merz and she did an outstanding job. Now having children of my own there is no other Orthodontist I would drive to other than DR.MERZ!
