(August 23, 2019, 11:27 pm)We usually go here in the summer so it gets pretty packed. There is a lot of parking but it gets filled up quick so try to arrive earlier than you plan to to find a spot. Weather is nice, people are cool and the water is just fine. Fun for the whole family.

(August 18, 2019, 9:15 pm)I love the beach by the roller coaster, it's a great stretch of sand and water. However I am not a fan of street vendors now selling blankets, beads and ice cream on the boardwalk and sand. It doesn't look licensed or regulated, and just feels sketchy...

(August 15, 2019, 6:15 pm)I really like this beach! Right next to Belmont, you can spend a day in the same then walk steps for a snack. Took grandson to hot dog on a stick and it was not too crowded at all. Folks selling wares had just begun setting up booths as we left but looked like another layer of fun. The showers are out in front and bathrooms clean. All in all, a fun place to spend day!

(August 11, 2019, 9:38 pm)I love mission beach...even when there are tons of people...it's clean. There are plenty of lifeguards and other things to do there. Plenty of houses to rent on the beach also. It's a great place to take the family to relax.

(July 17, 2019, 9:04 pm)Great visit. Went on a Wednesday and it wasn’t too crowded. Found parking quickly without a long walk. The food nearby did not disappoint either. Had not been to this beach in 20 years! Really enjoyed it!
