(July 26, 2019, 4:49 pm)Beautiful place. Lots of people to watch. Little shops, eateries. Fun, calm and pretty quiet for such a busy area. Is nice, you can rent bikes, scooters and buy buckets and shovels, what kid doesn't love to build a sandcastle? If you forget your towel, you can buy one!! Is a very nice place, even outdoor showers. Have fun!!

(July 24, 2019, 2:21 pm)I love this Beach and Boardwalk. Very family friendly. I have noticed this time there were more homeless and non-english speaking blanket shops set up with things to sell than normal but Comic Con was also happening so there were a lot more people than normal. The actual shop owners are very nice. The beach is kept pretty clean but do not expect any privacy. It is a very busy beach.

(July 15, 2019, 5:39 pm)Love the area. Lived in the area 1968 to 1971. Revisited a number of times since. Always enjoy the vibe. Although during June you don't get the true California feeling because it tends to be cloudy and cool. We had two days of sunshine out of 8 days there but they were glorious! Always entertaining to people watch.

(July 6, 2019, 6:20 pm)Vacationing and wanted a place I could go run and my husband & son could eat breakfast. Perfect location. I got in a 10k and they ate, bought lounge chairs and hung out on the beach while I ran. A little crowded, lots of scooters, bikers and slow walkers so you need to be careful and pay attention as they dont. Overall awesome run and great atmosphere. After stretching on the beach while my family relaxed, I enjoyed a breakfast burrito at a draft house on the boardwalk. Perfect morning.
