My family had the most magical evening sailing with Capt. Jesse!! We often do sunset cruises while in San Diego but this was by far our favorite company to work with. It was my birthday and they were absolutely amazing and gave us so many memories, the kids enjoyed watching the seals and loved chatting with Captain Jesse and crew. We can’t wait to do it again.
My boyfriend and I went on the sunset sailing tour with Captain Allen and it was an amazing experience. Allen was great company and conversation. He had a extensive knowledge of the area and was very passionate about sailing which felt very wholesome. The sunset was beautiful, weather was nice, and over all experience was the best. 10/10 would come again!
Roger was an awesome Captain. He was able to give us a guided tour of the various vessels around the bay and did so in a way that was just so comfortable. He sailed on his own and made what was clearly a lot of work look effortless. 2 hours was perfect for us to enjoy our champagne brunch we brought on board.
Booked weeks ahead online. You should definitely read all of the fine print as there’re important information you’ll need to make the reservation go smoothly. Captain Roger met us at the described meeting point, at the time the email said he would. Roger is a very friendly, chill and knowledgeable Skipper! I ordered sandwiches and beer, and got all that I ordered plus more with the extra complimentary snacks. The food was a decent cold sandwich, the beers were on ice, and the snacks were from cookies to berries.
The Skipper ran down safety etiquette, and equipment. You don’t go out to open sea like I thought, but that’s okay, because the tour was filled with great views, docked Navel ships, historical ships etc! Captain Roger got us pretty close to get a good look at them which was cooler than you would think. Later in the tour the clouds decided they wanted to hide the sun which was a bummer. Definitely bring a hoodie or jacket just in case, because if the clouds decide to hide the sun you’ll get pretty cold. Other than that, it was a perfect day!! I would definitely go through San Diego Sailing Tours again! Thanks Capt. Roger! 🤙🏿
