My first raw food experience, and I'll absolutely be back!

The joy of eating without restrictions was overwhelming in a good way. I ordered the lasagna and my friends ordered the "fish" taco special and "milk" shakes that were so creamy and delicious. We all loved everything and the chef even spoke to us about how each of our dishes were made.

They also sell Jem almond butter. The Salted Caramel is a must try!

The dining space is small and that was a bit of an issue, but it was cozy like eating at a friend's house which I enjoyed.

I can't wait to try something new when I return.

The portions here are pretty darn big! It was just two of us and we couldn't finish our three plates. We were just passing through, so we couldn't take the leftovers to go, unfortunately. So, I'd start with 1 entree to share and add on as needed because portions are large. Also, I find raw food to be VERY filling, and I didn't feel like eating the rest of the day after our meal.
For anyone unfamiliar with what RAW + VEGAN entails, you will primarily be consuming plants and nuts/seeds. They are soaked, dehydrated, and prepared in ways to create sauces, "bread" and taco shells and such without the need for heat-cooking. Here, they take a truly exquisite and artful way of meal design and presentation. I've been vegan for 6+ years, so the plant-filled meal was not surprising to me, but I know the completely cold temperature of the food was off-putting for my partner. They didn't really feel satisfied after eating. Most people are used to warm, cooked food so I would recommend going here on a warm summer day for a fresh meal!
Pricing is around $15-20 per entree. They do offer a 4% cash discount. If dining in, they do bring your food out to you but it's up to you to get your own cutlery and napkins and put your dishes away.
Beverages are few here. You won't find any unhealthy soda machines. Instead, there's bottled juices or smoothies and complimentary water. In the photos are the Noble nachos, Voltaire street tacos (which were actually too similar to the nachos), and (the special of the day) a pulled pork sammie. The blueberry pop-tart I got to go was amazing! As a v + gf eater, I haven't had a decent pop-tart in forever! While raw, it was still very delicious! The filling was A+!

I am currently enjoying a vegan keto diet and raw food seems to be a good option since there's a lot of nuts and other fatty ingredients that are used to make this kind of food. I generally don't really tend to eat raw vegan but since I'm on this diet I thought I'd give this place a shot. What a good choice because the ambience was fantastic and the service was great. Moreover the food itself was really tasty and filling. I had the kale chips and they had so many different flavors I wasn't sure which one to go with I had the Smoky cheddar which was fantastic and then I had a kale salad and some avocado bread which was on a seed bread they make in house. I would definitely come back and eat this even if I was not doing vegan keto because it was delicious. Keep up the good work

Fresh, raw food handled with love and creative inspiration ❤️. So good. We had Lasagna and Avacado toast. Both were amazing. But the berry cake we brought home with the watermelon juice 😋 so so so good. The flavors are matched but a genius here. Don't be fooled by the entrance. This place is divine.

BEST vegan/raw vegan establishment I have ever been to. The chef/owner checked on the patrons while we ate in the dining area. They sincerely care about the food they serve which is evident by the quality of everything we tried. We visited 3 times while staying in San Diego for two days. I also purchased their raw cook book which they have for sale in store. A must stop for any vegan.
