  bar food at this location - yummy. I was so full. Bring your appetite because portions are large.

  Food was good, service was good. Will definitely comeback for the turkey burger and the tots!

  The cheeseburger was delicious. Healthy patty size, sweet potato fries were on point. The outside patio area is perfect for these current times. The Caricature red blend wine is perfect.

  Interesting bar that has all kinds of different spaces to enjoy the perfect weather of San Diego. Right in the heart of South Park, great views from all the open spaces.
  Had a Swami IPA and Grilled Chesse with Tomato Soup.
  Everything was pretty good, but the Tom soup could have been more amazing.. But it still hit the spot for $7.00. Fun place, popular for a reason.

Location Station Tavern

The site was originally a trolley easement and station for San Diego's No. 2 line from 1929-1948. The bar top, stools, tables and chairs were milled from 100-year-old 2x4s, reclaimed from the previous tenant Snippy's Tavern, which operated from 1950-2003.

Station Tavern offers open seating on a first-come, first-served basis. Please call ahead to reserve your group at 619-255-0657, at least 24 hours in advance (as we book up fast and are only able to accommodate one large party per afternoon and one large party per night).
