  Such a great beach! Perfect family beach for playing in waves. No seaweed but no seashells either.

  Easy to find state beach off of the 101. State parks passes are accepted here. The parking lot is large but can fill up on hot weekend days. The beach gets pretty small at high tide. The beach has a couple of life guard towers. It seems to be a popular surfing spot but there is a designated swimming and body boarding area. There are bathrooms but they are located on the other side of the parking lot.

  Most of the bluff is reinforced so you can worry a little bit less about a slide. The beach has plenty of sand with almost no rocks but there is always a fair amount of kelp. The remaining tide pools are still fun but no where the size they used to be.

  Great family spot including pets on leash.
  Good boogie board beach. Life guards and public bathroom. No snackbar.
  Plenty of parking including RV parking.

  Great beach, not as busy as other beaches in the area. Big parking lot, $4 per hour. Lots of toilets but they are nasty, no hooks to hang anything to help in changing clothes and god forbid anything touches the filthy floor. For what they charge for parking these bathrooms should be immaculate and set up to allow a change of clothes. One shower/spray off place. When we were there a creeper was sitting in his car filming people spraying off. Good beach for families, surfing and body boarding. Good long beach for walking. Room to fly a kite. No food or water so bring your own.

Start at the Seaside State Beach parking lot and run north along the coast to Swami's State Beach and back. The views are incredible....especially when you get up the hill and can look out from the cliffs over the pacific ocean at sunset.
