Swanton Health Care & Retirement Center is truly what a caring, family-owned facility should be: they put patients first, the food is amazing (which is SO important for healing), and the owner maintains a constant presence, so any issues go straight to the top and are resolved. The staff have longevity and are happy to do their work. I have NEVER worked somewhere where skilled nursing and assisted living care residents are truly treated like family.
