Udon Mugizo

Handmade udon. Tempura choices are not that many compare to Hawaii. However, food is very delicious and high quality. Highly recommend.

Our family’s favorite spot for rich, soulful soup. 🍜 This I would consider a regular neighborhood spot that is always on point. Kind, appreciative and hardworking staff.

After having been to Japan, it’s always difficult to eat Japanese food and not stick my nose up. However, the Udon here was a perfect mixture of traditional with a bit of US flair. I got the spicy cold bowl, and my friend got the seas urchin, which was a bit heavy on the cream, but still very good.
Only reason it’s not 5 starts, is they charge extra for spice, which is a bit silly IMO. Otherwise pricing was great and no line to get in. Will be back for sure when at the mall or going to the AMC.

Udon Mugizo is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the city. I've eaten here more than any other restaurant. My only complaint is they recently removed Soba from their menu, which was by far the best soba in the city. PLEASE PLEASE bring it back!!

Great place for Japanese noodles. I ordered hot soba bowl. Was delicious with fish cake, scallions and tempura bits. Got seated immediately at 5:30pm. Got crowded by 6:30pm, but manageable. Restaurant staff followed covid protocol and checked vaccination card before seated. Will return to try other noodles.
