Kushi Tsuru

This was the first time I got to sit and sketch in Amsterdam. The sketch of course shows the cafe across the water way.
I had a coffee, or a latte. The only thing that made me leave was the weather getting a bit too cold for my liking.
Great area with a local vibe.

Great facilities, nicely decorated open office space. Optional to retreat and work quietly. When it's busy it can get rather noisy and crowded but that depends on what day/timeslot you are there. There is a metrostation in front of the entrance so easy accessible.

Me and my dining partner came here on a hungry whim, were seated immediately and enjoyed an utterly DELICIOUS meal here! Would recommend the Unagi Lover roll and the veggie miso ramen (wayyyyy more flavorful than most veg options). We’re excited to come back!

The caterpillar roll is the best my girlfriend has ever had and the spicy ramen I had was incredibly delicious and flavorful. Would recommend.

Ordered the Saba bento box and some warm sake. Watch out for bones! Food was great. 4 stars because service was slow and spotty.

I find this resturaunt the most calming and less crowded-feeling. The food is really good and you can order food to take-out from the entrance.
