Our family of 3 ( 2 adults and a 8 yr old ) booked a tour in fall, on non-weekend day. We showed up early , got paper work done, and staff equipped us with gear. Our kid was pampered with choices of color for the jacket! We then set out for a 1.5 hour tour, it was relaxed pace as we were with a kid, we paced it slow. Avi our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He talked about eating fresh kelp right off the sea, that made us giggle, and kept our kid entertained. She collected lots of kelp to keep/ eat later :) We saw sea lions, sea otters, lots of marine birds, kelp forest and we headed back. And at the end Avi ended with a kind gesture of giving our kid a book about kelp forests! Amazing guide, Great tour company, well worth the money and a great first experience for kids.
I can't say enough good things about David and his Venture Quest kayak renting business. I had a huge request of him to accommodate my memorial paddle out for my son. David never hesitated to do whatever it took to make our experience memorable. David and his team were generous, knowledgeable and willing to help. Thank you so much for such a heart warming experience you helped to create.
Avi was amazing! He explained everything we needed to know and provided us with proper attire we would need (jackets, pants, wet shoes, etc). Very affordable and awesome experience!
Had the most amazing 1st time kayaking trip. Our tour guide Eli was very knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable. My son had a blast. We came home today and I already booked a hotel for June so we can do it again. See you guys in June!
What an amazing experience...the day started out gross and foggy and rainy, but we went out anyway...didn't manage to see any whales, but our guide was wonderful and we ended up going into Elkhorn slough...TONS of seals, otters, sealions, jellies...so much wildlife. It was so cool to see so many things we saw in the aquarium the day before, out in it's natural habitat. Loved it! 😍
