Visalia Houk Park

Definitely a great spot to play and chill. It's got baseball field, it's got a good field for any sport, long side walks around for anything, and the best of all great shade. Great place to breathe, rest, think. I love that place.

This is a decent park.The playground is nice and has a lot of things the kids can play around on. It has A LOT of grassy areas so it's perfect for playing soccer or football. Plus it has a baseball diamond and back stop. Perfect for sports.
It IS located right next to Royal Oaks school and so it tends to have a lot of traffic around the times school is getting out. During these times, it can become rather difficult to find a parking spot. It is just down the street from COS and about 4 blocks from Mooney Blvd and just down the street from Visalia Mall. The one negative about this park, however, is there are NO restrooms which is pretty inconvenient for families with younger kids.
For Pokemon Go players, it has 3 different Pokestops around it, plus a gym. It is one of the three EX RAID gyms located here in town so that is a double win for Pokemon Go players.
Overall, this is a pretty nice park to visit!
