  We enjoyed working with Spencer Hellwig on the purchase of our first home. Spencer is professional, timely, communicative, and always makes himself available whenever possible. In Colorado's super-hot market, where homes go under contract in just a few days, Spencer's accessibly is greatly appreciated.
  
  We are also grateful for the Hellwig team's knowledge of the market. Spencer and his father, Brian, collectively have a few years of real estate experience in the Boulder area and were able to help us navigate through some difficult decisions. I will definitely work with the Hellwig team again in the future when we are ready for our next home.

  Brian is simply the best real estate agent in the state, if not the whole country. My husband and I were first time home buyers and he was recommended to us through two different friends. He explained the process, was kind but honest in helping us determine our needs & wants and took excellent care of us. With his expert help, we recently bought the perfect house for us, in a wonderful neighborhood. He is amazing!

  Brian helped me and my husband find our home in Boulder twenty five years ago, so when I moved back to the area last summer, I knew in Brian I had someone who was both very knowledgeable and very trustworthy. Once again, he could not have been more helpful in assisting me in finding my home. He is the consummate professional, and I knew he always had my best interests at heart. Brian also has served in this capacity for various members of my family throughout the years, and we are all so grateful for him and for the homes he has helped us to find.   No detail is missed when you work with him. Brian had creative ideas, excellent follow up, and a great attitude even when things got down to the wire (no fault of his own). Buying and selling a house is not for the faint of heart. I am glad Brian was by our side. He made it easier and more fun. We sold a house and bought a house from him. He was patient. We know, because we looked for years. Brian is in it for the long haul. He does the job with longevity in mind. I know about 100 realtors well, and we chose him.

  I could not have more respect, admiration, or gratitude for the job Brian does. I thought I understood what to expect from a realtor before this move and house purchase, but Brian shifted my standards significantly. At every step, he brought deep knowledge, patience, attention to detail, skill, and advocacy for our family. That he was also such good company was a bonus, and his combination of good spirits and professional acumen turned this search from a labor to a joy. I honestly cannot think of an area for improvement, only gratitude at enjoying the house Brian helped us find, negotiate hard on, and close. Brian is a friendly force of nature.
